We recently purchased a Thoroughbred mare from Candace at Elysian Meadows. In our search for the perfect broodmare, we came across several sellers who were not honest with us. We had never purchased a horse via internet; therefore, we were very nervous about it. Candace sugested a video chat and walked right out to the barn to show us the horse we were interested in. That really impressed us and put us at easy with the decision to buy without visiting the farm. She answered all our questions and made sure the horse would be right for us as well. She made the buying process very easy and even arranged shipping. Tiz arrived safe and sound a few days ago. She's beautiful and everything we hoped for. Thank you Elysian Meadows!

I bought a TB gelding from them. They are very honest about the horse u r buying. Now a days that is rare,as most people that sell horses are not as honest as they are. I bought my horse sight unseen. He's everything they said he was. Would definitely buy another horse from here.

I purchased my ‘dream horse’ Fifty Shades’ from Candace back in June. I found Candace to be honest and helpful when it came to choosing him from three of her horses that I liked. Once she knew what I was looking for she helped me come to a decision and I am thrilled with my boy. His stable name is now ‘Aston’ and I am in the process of retraining him. He will make a superb eventer and all who meet him are very complimentary about my choice of partner. I would not hesitate to do business with Candace in the future.

It’s been a pleasure working with Elysian Meadows and Candace. I found them by chance through their horses listed on Dreamhorse. Upon further investigating this page, I’m truly impressed by the quality horses they seem to consistently offer. I had the pleasure of talking to Candace on the phone on a few occasions and she was always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. When I called about a specific horse, she was kind enough to listen to my needs and goals, and then told me the horse I was I inquiring about probably was not the match for me. She suggested a few other horses and quickly sent me bios. It was apparent that she wanted the match between myself and my future horse to be a successful one and that she was not just out to make a sale. While I have not yet purchased from Candace, I hope to do so in the future!

We recently bought Red Hare, now “Bentley” from Candace at Elysian Meadows. The experience was terrific from start to finish. Even being from out of state in Illinois, it was a smooth transaction. From the moment I reached out to her, she was quick to respond, honest, and really knew the horse well. Candace really has an eye for finding talented OTTBs with a good mind. She helped us find the perfect match for me and my kids. Candace also helped us with coordinating a pre-purchase exam with a local vet, overnight accommodations at a local hotel, and securing the right horse transport shipping company to get him both West and North to Illinois. We couldn’t be happier! I would definitely buy from her again!

What a quality program Candace has. We purchased a horse from her and it was probably the smoothest horse buying experience possible. Candace was so spot-on discussing each horse and their potential that for the first time in many, many transactions, we bought this mare without a barn visit. She lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The vetting, and shipping were easy to arrange and communication was always excellent. I look forward to working with Candace again and love her commitment to her program.
