Wish is a big fancy boy with loads of potential! He is well built with good bone, a super cute face, and just the right amount of chrome!! Wish retired sound, issue-free, and vice free. Since coming to us at Elysian Meadows, he has been a pleasure to live with and to work with. He happily gets turned out with a buddy or alone, daytime or nights. He is good in his stall and loves to schmooze with whatever human happens to be in there with him cleaning his stall. He is good for the baths, xties, lunges, etc. We have gotten his teeth done as well and had him treated for ulcers. Wish has been started back a few times on the lunge line with some of our favorite training aids such as the Pessoa rig, side reins, and Vienna reins... all of which he accepts willingly and goes right to work with. He has had one off the track ride so far and was lovely undersaddle! Video coming soon!! At Liberty, Wish loves to show off his big, fancy trot that really covers so much ground. He has a big step that we could see hunters, eventers, and dressage riders alike falling in love with. His canter is balanced and consistent. This hunky boy also has perfect lead changes to go along with his three beautiful gaits. Upon sending Wish down the jump chute (which he happily took himself down!!), we were wow’d by his style and form!! This boy is a natural!!! He has great technique and lots of scope! We could see this one going far in the right hands!! Don’t miss out on this fancy unicorn!
Update: Wish had his second ride and he was absolutely fabulous! The lunging and ground work is really paying off. He is starting to stretch down through the bridle and soften into your hands. He happily gave us perfect lead changes both directions and trotted over some xrails! He couldn’t have been any better!! He even hacked up to the barn, right past our resident steer, Big Mac, and over a stream/bridge!!
