Kaleidoscope Kid- 2015 16.1h TB Gelding. RRP Eligible. This stunning, classic bay is anything but plain despite his solid bay wrapper. He has a natural presence about him that begs for you to notice him. Kid retired off the track at the end of Sept, after 41 races. He retired sound and vice free. Upon arriving at our farm, Kid got the works done… feet, teeth, chiro, and acupuncture. He settled in very nicely and has been an overall easy horse to have in the barn. He has been turned out alone or occasionally with another gelding and has been great. He is very sweet and personable… he eats up attention like it’s going out of style. In addition to Kid’s dapper good looks, he is an impressive mover and jumper!! We were pleasantly surprised by his huge step and giant reach through his shoulder! We could see dressage riders swooning over him for sure!! Kid showed us three lovely gaits, easy lead changes, and then continued to impress us down the jump chute. He has a nice jump, with a tidy front end. He could really go in countless directions when it comes to future disciplines!! We believe Kid will be an easy restart, but he HAS NOT YET BEEN RESTARTED. With the weather just starting to get colder, he is feeling great and is definitely the feel good type. He would be well suited for an amateur who has prior experience restarting an OTTB, or who would be working with a trainer. He is truly a lovely gelding who will make someone very happy!!
