🦄🦄 THIS MARE IS ONE IN A MILLION!! QUIET QUIET QUIET!!! See the video listed above of Cleo and the Unicorn!! Must watch— sorry, it’s long!! This mare is bombproof and unflappable for A THREE YEAR OLD!! Cleo is a stunning young crossbred mare who has endless potential!! She came to us from out west where she had a crash course in working cows and being a ranch horse. She is brave and very quiet, but could use some polish on some of the basics like steering, lateral work, etc..... but she is only a baby 3yr old, so that’s allowed!! We were very impressed by Cleo’s super quiet way of going Undersaddle.. she would happily trot out or come back and do a tiny (VERY COMFORTABLE) sitting trot. She rode w/t/c for us and even jumped over some fences for us!! It was undoubtedly the first time she was ever asked to jump and she was so good about it!!! She was completely unbothered by our crazy dogs racing around her as we rode. This fancy girl could go in countless directions.... English or western. She would make a great foxhunter or hill topper prospect. Despite being green, she is quiet enough to go hack out on as is. Cleo is sound and vice free. She currently wears front shoes, but she has great feet and could easily go barefoot.
**SECOND RIDE- We worked quite a bit on steering, bending and move off leg. This girl is so smart!!
**THIRD RIDE- This fancy girl remembered everything she has been working on! We also learned that she is familiar with neck reining!! Handy girl! After our ride in the ring... and jumping around some scary fences... we hacked out alone! Baby 3yr old all by herself! She was absolutely PERFECT!!
FOURTH RIDE— Rode her in a GIANT BLOWUP UNICORN COSTUME!! And she was perfection!! W/t/c and jumped... dragged a giant soccer ball around, had dogs running and playing with the ball. Hacked out, trotted and cantered on dirt rode... passed cars and motorcycle.. got the mail off her back... opened a gate. PERFECT BABY GIRL!!
