Our Never Ending Search For Unicorns

One of the biggest challenges we face in our business is locating the mythical creatures coming off the track who check all our boxes. We are ALWAYS in the market to purchase truly wow-worthy, spectacular prospects who are no longer showing promise as racehorses. We love making new contacts at tracks all over the country, and Canada too, with hopes of assisting trainers/owners in safely transitioning their retiring racehorses into their next careers. We routinely buy horses off of pictures, jog videos, and quite often without ever meeting the horse in person prior to purchasing. Nothing makes us happier than being repeat buyers from reliable and trusted connections at the tracks. Location is not an issue, as we are very comfortable and familiar with doing so.
What are we looking for?
*Ideally Geldings, although we will consider exceptional mares who are not mare-ish.
* 3-7yrs old (some exceptions are made for slightly younger or older if the quality is there.)
*16h+ (15.3h is absolute bare minimum)
*SOUND
*Clean legged-- (small splint, very MILD osslets can be forgiven)
*NO PRIOR INJURIES (this includes prior surgeries, ex: chip removal, screw, etc.. even if sound post-surgery.)
*NO VICES (This includes, but is not limited to: cribbing, weaving, stall walking, wood chewing, kicking, etc)
*FANCY-- must have serious wow-factor; we love chrome, greys, etc.
*Good Conformation with an uphill build
*Good disposition
*Ability to pass a PPE with X-rays.
* Preferably directly off the track or recently off the track, and not yet restarted. Light restarts are ok!
*Bonus Points for bloodlines with Giant's Causeway, Tiznow, El Prado, Unbridled Song, Sadler's Wells, AP Indy, Gone West, Dixieland Band, Holy Bull, Two Punch, Scat Daddy, Hail To Reason.
We weren't kidding when we said we were hunting for the highly sought after unicorns. We know it's a tall order. They aren't the easiest creatures to find! But come on, we have faith in you! We are no-hassle, no-nonsense buyers who won't waste your time being tire kickers!
