A Little Piece of Heaven

Elysian Meadows LLC is located on an idyllic 31 acres in beautiful Chester County.  We have great plans for this property to turn it into the heavenly place we envision.  It is forever a work in progress, with constant growth, bringing us closer and closer to our dreams for it.  
Elysian Meadows LLC was founded and is run by Candace Scheirer.  Candace has been a lifelong equestrian who lives and breathes for horses.  She started riding at the tender age of 2yr old, and started competing at age 3!! Candace grew up focusing mainly on the hunter scene but has branched out to experience other disciplines over the years, including dressage, polo, cross country, cutting, and driving.  Her forte has always been working with youngsters, from weanlings on up.  She has vast experience with starting horses unsaddle and has a strong focus on ground work.  A solid foundation of ground is so very crucial for horses.  Candace grew up riding Thoroughbred racehorses and even helped break and breeze them when she was only 10yrs old.  (Note: her parents were not horse people and did not know the risks at the time!) She then worked at several warmblood breeding farms, assisting with handling and desensitizing young stock.  Thoroughbreds have always been a passion though, so it was inevitable that Candace would get involved with restarting off the track racehorses.
